Delete Project Roles

This section explains how to delete project roles.

You can delete project roles created by users. Preset project roles cannot be deleted.

Prerequisites

  • You should join a project and have the Role Management permission within the project. For more information, refer to "Project Members" and "Project Roles".

  • Ensure the project role you want to delete is not assigned to any project members. Otherwise, you need to remove the project members or change their roles.

Steps

  1. Log in to the KubeSphere web console with a user who has the Role Management permission, and access your project.

  2. Click Project Settings > Project Roles in the left navigation pane.

  3. Click more on the right side of the project role you want to delete, then select Delete from the dropdown list.

  4. In the Delete Role dialog, click OK to confirm the deletion.
